Carl Russell Smith (age 68) died on Friday, Sept 14, 2018 in a Corpus Christi hospital following a short illness. He was a retired truck driver. Carl was born to Leroy "Smitty" & Mary (Dryer) Smith Sr. on Dec. 13, 1949.

Wife: Karen Smith of Alice, Tx.

Son: Patrick (Michele) Smith of Taft, Tx.

3 sisters: Marian (Jack) Taylor of Franklin, Tx.

                 Patsy Miles of Yoakum, Tx.

                 Linda Davidson Smith of Corpus Christi, Tx.

Brother: LeRoy Smith Jr. of Yoakum, Tx.

Grandchild: Liberty-Anne Nichole Hayes of Taft, Tx.

Visitation will begin on Saturday, Sept 22, 2018 from 9AM until 2PM with a Funeral Service to begin at 2PM in the Roberson Funeral Home Chapel in Alice, Tx.

Cremation will follow.
