Darla Wylie Farrell, 61, passed away March 15 in Houston following a lengthy illness. Born December 20, 1954, Darla was a 1973 graduate of William Adams High School and obtained her associates degree in Computer technology at the Control Data Institute in Houston. She had been employed by Tuttle Venture Partners in Houston since 1994. Survivors include her mother, Catherine Wylie of Corpus Christ, her son, William Edward Farrell II and grandson, William Edward Farrell III, sister, Debra Wylie Richardson of Alice and brother, David Wylie of Houston. Her father, Bill Wylie, preceded her in death. Per Darla’s request, she was cremated. A memorial celebration of her life will be conducted at a later date.
