Larry Dale "Hank" Vanover passed away November 22, 1965.

Born April 15, 1950, he died from injuries sustained when the motor scooter he was driving struck a bread truck on Corazon St. in Alice. He was 15.

He was survived by his parents, William and Patsy Vanover (now deceased), and his brothers, Billy (Class of '63)and Johnny (Class of '66).

To those of us who knew him, his death at such an early age was really the first time we were confronted with the thoughts of our own mortality.

Such a loss..we've never forgotten him.
