Michael Evans Fields - Class Of 1970 VIEW PROFILE

Michael Evans Fields, age 66, passed away peacefully at his home, with his loving family by his side, on Monday, October, 15, 2018.

He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. He was a hardworking, strong, and a simple man who loved spending time with his grandchildren, checking on his cows, and had a passion for showing sheep.

Michael was preceded in death by his father, Floyd Lynn Fields.

Michael will forever be in the memories of his loving wife of 44 years, Cathy Woodard Fields of Alice; his three children, Kelly (Rob) Murdoch of Alice, Amy (Kyle) Gunn of Alice, and Matt Fields of Alice; six grandchildren; his mother, Grace Holmgreen Fields of Alice, and two brothers, Jeff (Carolyn) Fields of Alice and Tim (Karen) Fields of Mt. Pleasant.

Family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 17, 2018 at Holmgreen Mortuary in Alice.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 18, 2018 at the First United Methodist Church in Alice with Pastor Dale White officiating. Interment will follow at Alice Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be offered to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105, or to the First United Methodist Church, 111 N. Adams St., Alice, Texas 78332.
