Obituary

Mitchell Glynn Sens, 71, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, December 29, 2021. He was born on February 27, 1950 in Corpus Christi, Texas to Oscar Lynn and Margie Sens.  He was an Alice High School graduate and attended Texas A & I University in Kingsville. Mitchell spent most of his life working in the oilfield, but in his spare time he loved to hunt and fish.  He also loved to spend time at home. 

He was a wonderful, loving husband who was dearly loved and will be greatly missed.

Mitchell will forever be in the hearts of his loving wife, Linda, brother Michael (Nelly) Sens, his children:  Christopher Sens, Patricia (David) Jones, Mitchell (Ruby) Sens, Kristopher Benson, Holly Benson and his grandchildren:   Andres, Matthew, Sadie, Sevanna, Colton, Caleb, Chloe, Audrey, Kaden, Kyler, and Kinsley.  Also, numerous nieces and nephews and his coffee drinking buddies at Dairy Burger.

A Celebration of life will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, January 7, 2022 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Alice, Texas officiated by Amy Koenning and Mary Jackson.

The family would like to thank Meridian Care of Alice, especially Matthew and Macy, Trevor, Amanda, Julie, Oscar and Joshua, for the special care he received during his time there. 

Arrangements are entrusted to Holmgreen Mortuary, 2061 East Main Street, Alice, Texas.
