Michael J. Foy passed away at the age of 71. He was born May 7, 1951 to George T. Foy and Madeline Fredell Garnett.
He was a graduate of Alice High School. He was part owner of GM Compressor and Pump for many years alongside his wife, Janet and partners, Garry and Sarah Turk. He loved fishing, gardening, collecting hot wheels, gambling, watching the Dallas Cowboys, feeding the birds, spending time with family and being the best “Pepaw” to his grandchildren.
He was a loving husband, father, pepaw, brother, uncle, cousin and friend to everyone he met. He was a fun, loving humorous man, who had jokes through the good times and the bad. He was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Janet Foy, and brother, Ted Foy.
Mike will be lovingly remembered by his children, April Lea Foy (Barney Cardona) of Alice, TX and Catherine Amber (Daniel) Villesca of Corpus Christi, TX; grandchildren, Ava Danielle Villesca, Alivia Danielle Villesca, and Noah Daniel Villesca, all of Corpus Christi, TX; sister, Madeline (Donald “Bubba”) Fortune of New Waverly, TX; beloved dog, Lexi, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Family will receive friends from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM on Monday, February 20, 2023 with a Funeral Service to be held at 1:00 PM at Holmgreen Mortuary, 2061 E. Main St., Alice, TX, 78332. Burial with Full Military Honors will follow at Alice Cemetery.
