School Story:

After high school I lived in Bavaria, Germany for two years serving in the
U. S. Army. It was an awesome time, which allowed me to travel all over Europe and the Holy Land (Israel, Lebanon, Egypt, & Greece).

After my military service, I finished my BA in Psychology at Texas A & I in Corpus Christi in 1975 and my Masters of Theology degree from Southwestern Baptist Seminary in Ft. Worth in 1980.

After graduating from seminary (while living in Hurst, TX where I pastored my first church), I had the privilege of serving other churches in South Texas (Alice, Robstown, Beeville, Aransas Pass) and in Colorado, Nevada, and on the Southern Oregon coast. In the early 80's I lived near Monterrey, Mexico while attending a language school.

Loving to travel, I have had the privilege and pleasure of visiting almost every state in the US and Alaska, as well as Canada, Costa Rica, Hawaii, India, Japan, Singapore, Guam, South Africa, and the Philippines.

I have been blessed with 10 children (6 guys & 4 girls) and 18 grandchildren as of 2024.

Bill welcome to our site...glad you found it and joined. How long have you live in Longview? Two of my 10 children graduated from Le Tourneau and I have a really great in-law living there.

We will be having a 50th reunion for the classes of '1965 and '1966' called "Mid '60's Class Reunion".

This event will be held over Oct. 23, 24, & 25 at the Alice Country Club.
