Peggy Pullin (Wheeler) - Class Of 1968 VIEW PROFILE

Peggy Lynn Wheeler of Bandera, TX passed away peacefully on December 22 at her home. She was born in Alice, TX to Leonard and Elenore Pullin on Nov. 15, 1949. She attended Alice High School and worked for several companies in the Oil and Gas Industry for more than 40 years, retiring in March of 2015.Along the way, she met and married her husband, Jim, in Feb. 8, 1986. Jim also worked in the Oil and Gas Industry and together their work took them from San Antonio to Houston for 26 years. They built their home in Bandera and have lived there for 2 and a half years.

One of Peggy’s pleasures was SCUBA diving. Peggy and Jim made many diving trips to the Caribbean. Jim proposed to Peggy on one of those trips in Roatan, Honduras. They eventually got hooked on Jamaica and would make 11 trips to the island.

She is preceded in death by her parents and younger sister Carol Jean.

She is survived by her husband and older sister Theresa Pullin of Bandera, TX.

Rosary will be held at 6:30 PM on Tuesday, Dec. 26 at Grimes Funeral Home in Bandera, TX. Mass will be at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church on Wed. Dec. 27 at 10 AM in Bandera, TX. Burial will be at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery at a later date.
