Glenn Edward Maresch, age 60, passed away on December 16, 2010. Glenn was born on September 17, 1950 to Sterling A. Maresch and Irene Slovacek. He graduated from Alice High School  in 1969 and attended Texas A&I University. Glenn was employed by Sterling Engine Service. Glenn was a professional musician and had a love for music. Glenn enjoyed fishing with his family and family barbeques. Glenn was a 3rd Degree Knight of Columbus. He was an active parishioner at St. Francis of Assissi Catholic Church in Sandia, Texas. Glenn will always be remembered for his smile and good humor and the love of his 3 dogs Raymond, Max and Georgia.

Glenn is preceded in death by his mother Irene Slovacek Maresch. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife Jean Andrews Maresch, his son Jason Maresch of Jacksonville, Florida, his father Sterling Maresch and stepmother Ernestina Reyes Maresch and his brother Steve (Dana) Maresch, his stepsons Steven (Jodie) Flint of Ontario, Canada and Scott Flint of Louisville, Kentucky and 3 step grandchildren, 2 nieces and 2 nephews, 2 great nieces and 1 great nephew.

Visitation was held at Seaside Funeral Home Chapel at 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 21, 2010, with a rosary recited at 11:30 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 12:00 p.m.
