Scott Elliott Rushing, 54, passed away June 14, 2002 in Alice of a heart attack.

 

He was general manager for Love Chrysler Dodge Jeep in Alice, a member of First United Methodist Church and active in the church choir. A 1965 graduate of William Adams High School, he was quarterback for the Coyote football team and a member of the Coyote baseball and golf teams. He remained an avid Coyote fan until his death. He attended Southwest Texas University in San Marcos and graduated from then Texas A&I University in Kingsville.

 

Scott was a veteran of the United States Air Force, serving 12 months in Korea. He was a longtime member of the Alice Kiwanis Club.

 

Funeral services and burial with full Military Honors, were conducted June 19, 2009 in Alice.
