Memories that always comes up are those that involved my dad's old '51 Chevy. One was at the Price's house, fireworks that went off in my car sitting in the Price's driveway from a sparkler and a story I had to make up to tell my dad why his car was still smoking after 3 days. The panic that set in as the car was going up in flame and smoking was that Doug White was still in the back seat and unable to get out--bad deal but he had already escaped. This incident didn't kill the old ride until Doug Osterloh threw an old inter-tube through the windshield during one of our many Halloween wars...one broken windshield totaled the great ride that served us well.
