Tom Pat "TP" King
(October 1, 1954 - February 6, 2018)

Tom Pat "TP" KING, 63, was called home on Tuesday, February 6, 2018 at his home after a sudden illness. He was born in Alice, Texas on October 1, 1954 to his parents, Henry and Josephine King. He was a 1973 graduate of Alice High School and served his country as a US Army Veteran during the Vietnam Era. He worked as a mechanic all his life and enjoyed doing charity work for the Ronald McDonald house and Toys for Tots. His passions included riding his motorcycles, rebuilding classic cars and competing in several classic car shows. He was a loving husband, father, brother, uncle and dear friend that will be sadly missed by all.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

TP is survived by his wife of 10 years marriage, Gloria Lamar King of Alice, Texas; two daughters, Chelsea and Courtney King of Alice, Texas; two stepchildren, Jorge Delgado Jr. of Waco, Texas; Jessica Lee Delgado of San Diego, Texas; four brothers, Gary (Diane) King, Richard (Mary) King, Frankie (Laura) King, Robert (Norma) King; three sisters, Nora (Tom) Dobson, Karen O'Connor, Linda (Chuck) Mrazek; his beloved pet companion, Sam Houston; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 9:00 pm. on Friday, February 9, 2018 at the Garza Funeral Home in San Diego, Texas with a Prayer Service at 6:00 p.m. that evening. Funeral Service will be held at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 10, 2018 at Garza Funeral home Chapel in San Diego, Texas with Pastor Israel Moreno officiating. Military Graveside Services and Interment will follow at the San Diego Cemetery in San Diego, Texas.
