Obituary

Annie Parker Mitchell passed away on Friday, August 27, 2021 at the age of 65 in Corpus Christi, TX. She was born on December 10, 1955 in Karlsruhe, Germany to Robert Lee Parker and Melitta Inge Kroner.

Annie graduated from Alice High School in 1973 and went on to earn an Architecture/Drafting Degree from Beeville Community College. She worked for Fluor Architectural, The Mechanic Service Inc., the family business, where she oversaw the accounting and day to day operations for over 30 years. Annie finished her career at Coastal Acres as the office manager.

She enjoyed gardening, collecting antique coffee pots, knitting needles and yarn, and especially enjoyed going to garage and estates sales. Annie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt who was dearly loved and will be greatly missed.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband of seven years, Michael Shannon Mitchell; parents, Bob and Mady Parker and father-in-law, Raymond Munson

Survivors include her children, Christina Leigh Parker of Georgetown, TX, Shawn Ray (Angie Rodriguez) Mitchell of Alice, TX, and Whitney Mitchell of Corpus Christi, TX; six grandchildren, Leighann Franklin, Curtis Joseph Kjergaard, Nina Rodriguez, Gracie Alaniz, Alejandro Alaniz, and Clarissa Alaniz; siblings, Darlene (Ron) Faldyn of Palacios, TX, Hilde (Al) Sanders of Cedar Creek, TX, Sherry (Bill) Peterson, of Alice, TX, and Curtis (Gretchen) Parker of Georgetown, TX; and mother-in-law, Mary Ellen Munson of Annaville, TX.

There will be no services at this time.
