Lawrence M. "Larry" Meadows , 62, of Hallsville, Texas, died May 8, 2010 , at home surrounded by his family. He was born January 7, 1948, in Opelousas, Louisiana, and was the youngest of two siblings. He graduated from Texas A & I University in 1978 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Natural Gas Engineering.

He is survived by his wife of 17 years, Gina Meadows; two daughters, Lauren Meadows of Hallsville, and Traci Meadows of Montgomery, Texas; son and daughter-in-law, Scott and Neva Meadows of The Woodlands; and grandson, Tanner Meadows of The Woodlands. Mr. Meadows was preceded in death by his mother and father, Ethel and Edward Meadows; and brother, Ross Meadows.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, May 14, 2010, at 4 p.m. at the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home in Longview, Texas. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations to be made in memory of Larry Meadows to the Heart'sWay Hospice of Northeast Texas, 1306 Pine Tree Rd, Longview, Texas 75604.
