Carol Kennemer Pilkington has come to the end of her journey in this lifetime. She was born on December 10, 1949 in Harlingen, Texas and passed away on November 10, 2015 in McKinney, Texas.

She was a loving daughter, mother, grandmother, and sister who will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Carol’s greatest joy was spending time with her four precious grandchildren, who lovingly called her “Honey”, and shopping with her sister.

She was preceded in death by a grandmother, Nelly Mae Snyder, her father, Deuon Lee “Snuffy” Kennemer, and her precious granddaughter, KaryolAnn NyKole Pilkington Locke.

Carol leaves behind her husband, Chuck Pilkington, her daughter, AmyKarol Pilkington Locke (Kenneth) and her son, Justin Charles Pilkington (Shelley); three grandchildren, Garrett Locke, Karyolyne Locke, and Lindsey Pilkington; her mother, Wynema Kennemer; a loving sister, Barbara Kennemer Koenning (James); two older brothers, Robert Kennemer (Dottie) and Jack Kennemer (Sherlyn); as well as many nieces and nephews.

Carol is now in heaven with their loving granddaughter and her best friend, and many others who have gone home before her.

Family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Holmgreen Mortuary on Friday, November 13, 2015. Funeral Service to be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 14, 2015 at First Baptist Church in Alice with Brother Chris Ruwaldt officiating.

Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park in Alice, Texas.
