Ervin Danny Hand of Berryville, Arkansas was born March 14, 1947 to Ervin and Gertie (Gathright) Hand in Alice, Texas. Dan passed away January 18, 2021 in Fayetteville, Arkansas at the age of 73. 

Dan retired from the National Park Service after 33 years of service. He also worked at the Carroll County Sheriffs Office and became a Lt. over the detention center. Dan was a former member of Grand Coulee, Washington Rotary Club. He enjoyed hiking, taking photos, doing puzzles, and learning history of our National Parks, but most of all he loved his family and was an incredible grandfather. 

September 16, 1967 Dan was united in marriage to Hughetta Kay (Hodges) Hand who survives him of the home. Dan is also survived by his sons Ryan Hand and wife Henrica, Joel Hand and wife Melissa; seven grandchildren Tiatianna, Xavier, Alexis, Jordan, Travis, Kayla, Malory; three great grandchildren Alice, Cora, Joel; along with several other relatives and many close friends. 

Dan is preceded in death by his parents, sister Judy Fischer. 

Campfire Celebration of the Life of Dan Hand will be 1:00 pm till 5:00 pm, Saturday, January 23, 2021 at the Hand residence, 2244 Cr 504, Berryville, AR 72616.
