Obituary

Michael Jerry Hebert was born on May 19, 1945 in San Antonio, Texas. He was the son of loving parents M.J. (Jerry) and Eulalie Fisher Hebert. Mike married the former Pam Symm Morris on November 27, 2015 with Dr. Wilbert Sohns officiating. Mike graduated from William Adams High School in Alice, Texas and from Texas A&I, now Texas A&M Kingsville, Texas. He lived in Alice, Laredo, Mission, Franklin, and most recently The Grove, Texas. Following graduation from Texas A&I College in Kingsville he moved to Mission, Texas, to become a high school Ag. teacher. Later he spent many years as a sales representative for several regional pharmaceutical companies. Through it all Mike was a rancher and cattleman with ranches near Franklin and The Grove, Texas. Mike was a life-long learner, gleaning information about how to do things better. He valued a strong work habit and practical, informed solutions. His friendly demeanor and interesting stories drew people to him. He loved his family and the land. Mike was preceded in death by his parents Jerry and Eulalie Hebert, and by his son, Michael Jeffrey Hebert. He is survived by his wife Pam; by his sister Marilee Hebert Miller and husband Bob; by his children Shane Hebert, Clint and Leah Hebert, Jason and Sladjana Morris, and Jeffrey Morris; by his grandchildren, Kade Hebert, Corrie Hebert, Claire Hebert, Maksim Morris, Micah Morris and Isaac Morris; and by countless nieces, nephews and friends. Michael Jerry Hebert lived on this earth 76 years, 3 months and 9 days. Now through faith in Jesus Christ alone he lives for all eternity in heaven. To God be All the Glory A memorial service for Mike will be held at 11 o’clock a.m. on Saturday, September 4, 2021 at St. Paul Lutheran Church in The Grove with Pastor John Heckmann officiating. His remains will be interred in the church cemetery following the service.
