Carla Jo Woodward Brandt died Monday, November 3, 2014 at her home in Calallen, TX. She was born February 8, 1952 to Jess and Bea Woodward of Alice. She was 62.

A varsity cheerleader, Carla was a 1970 graduate of William Adams High School and a true "free spirit".

Survivors include her two daughters, Stephanie McGill of Austin and Amanda (Ted) Snelling of Calallen: her sister, Darlene Lewis of Victoria: granddaughter Madison Darylene Snelling; and a multitude of nieces, nephews and old friends.

Family visitation will be held from 5-7 pm Thursday at Holmgreen Mortuary Chapel in Alice. Graveside services are slated for 11 am Friday at Alice Cemetery.
